For many years we have been aware that the current name of our institute does not correspond to the much broader scope of its activities and that it would be right to look for a new name which would better describe the mission of our organization. But respect for tradition always prevailed, namely agenda and costs associated with changing the name.<\/p>\n
In 2025, we expect to be assigned additional activities beyond the framework of forest management. Moreover, as a state organization we have to switch to the unified domain (gov.cz). Thus, reasons for changing the name of our organization definitely prevailed, and its name will be the Czech Forestry Institute (NLI<\/span>) from 1 January 2025. This is how another chapter opens in our history that goes back already 90 years.<\/p>\n From January 2025 we switch to a new domain (nli.gov.cz). The original websites and e-mail addresses remain functional and will be redirected automatically. Identification number (I\u010cO\/ID) of organization, tax identification number (DI\u010c\/tax ID), data box ID and number of bank account remain unchanged.<\/p>\n The name of our organization is changing based on the Measure (Ref. no. 74505\/2024-MZE-16211) of the Ministry of Agriculture from 31.
